Curriculum 課程

  1.1 Compulsory Subjects 必修科
    English Language , Chinese Language , Mathematics (Compulsory Part) and Liberal Studies
    英國語文、中國語文、數學(必修部分)及通識教育
    *Two modules of the extended part (Module 1: Calculus and Statistics; Module 2: Algebra and Calculus) are offered. Students based on their individual needs and interests may take one of the two modules.
   

*本校開設兩個延伸單元(單元一:微積分與統計;單元二:代數與微積分 )。學生可因應個別的學習需要和興趣,修讀其中一個單元。

    Students are open to a good choice of subject combination in the NSS curriculum. Each student can study at most seven subjects, which include four core subjects, namely Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies as well as two or three elective subjects.
   

學生可從十二個選修科中修讀兩或三科,連中國語文、英國語文、數學(必修部分)及通識教育,每位學生最多可修讀七科。

 

  1.3 Other Learning Experiences 其他學習經歷
    In addition to formal lessons being given in Religious & Moral Education, P.E. and Aesthetic Development (ASD), teaching and learning activities often extend beyond the classroom to cater for students' needs. The School also arranges community services for students to take part in and provides them with work-related experiences.
    為提升同學的多元才能,於正規課堂設有宗教教育及倫理課、體育課、藝術發展課外,並因應學生的需要於非正規上課時間提供其他學習經歴的機會。此外,校方亦安排學生於課後參與社會服務,並為她們提供與工作有關的學習經驗。
2.   Interface with Junior Secondary Curriculum 與初中課程的銜接
    To ensure effective transition to the NSS curriculum, the school has successfully adjusted the curriculum,the teaching strategies and the assessment modes in junior forms. One example is the introduction of Integrated Humanities in S.1 and S.2 to equip students with the necessary skills to tackle Liberal Studies under the NSS curriculum. Cross-curricular project-based learning is carried out from S.1 to S.3 to help students systemically master the various generic skills. S.3 students all are actively involved in a Social Service Scheme to cultivate their civic and community sense as well as to enhance their collaboration and communication skills.
   

為有效地銜接新高中課程,本校已調整初中課程、教學法、評估模式等。其中中一及中二更設有綜合人文料,培養學生日後研習通識教育科的基本能力。此外,本校亦為初中年級學生安排進行專題研習訓練,有系統地掌握研習技巧,以協作學習方式,加強學習效果。最後,本校於中三級舉辦「放眼社會義工服務計劃」,培養學生的公民意識及協作、溝通能力。
