本校中六畢業典禮在六月二十二日下午於學校禮堂舉行，主禮嘉賓為香港旅遊發展局郵輪業務總監阮佩芳女士。當天，校監馬麗莉修女與各位校董會成員出席典禮頒授獎項，嘉賓包括家長教師會主席、校友會會長及各畢業生之家長，場面莊嚴隆重。

典禮以梁以豪校長致辭揭開序幕。校長向準備展翅高飛的畢業生送上雋語：「當你留在家裏，家就是你的全世界；當你走向世界，世界就是你的家。」他寄望畢業生能以此更廣闊的世界觀去探索未來。此外，梁校長回顧了學校在全人教育上的豐碩成果，包括推行個性化學習體驗、PPVIC SPEAK UP比賽，以及「微習慣獎勵計劃」，幫助學生建立自信和培養良好習慣。學校亦與時並進，積極將人工智能（AI）融入教學，他特別表揚四位應屆畢業生學以致用，以AI編程研發出Jupas搜尋器，貢獻社會。體育方面，同學在游泳、籃球及排球等多項賽事中屢創佳績，表現出類拔萃。最後，校長回顧這屆畢業生於2020年因疫情參與網上開學禮的難忘經歷，教導大家感恩和珍惜相聚的每分每秒，並期望畢業生能以自己獨特的方式服務社會，體現仁愛精神。

其後，由阮佩芳女士頒發畢業證書及致辭。身為傑出校友的阮女士，感恩母校當年給予的包容與栽培，讓當時並非教徒的她亦能深切感受到關懷。她又以自己當年會考成績未如理想的經歷為引子，分享自己如何面對失敗、反思不足，並在沒有放棄的情況下另覓出路，最終順利升讀大學。阮女士藉此勉勵畢業生，在面對人生或學業上的挫敗時，不應輕易懷疑自己，而應將失敗視為汲取經驗的機會。她亦分享了自己投身旅遊業的經歷，特別是疫情期間面對郵輪業務停頓的巨大挑戰時，如何保持積極主動與各方溝通、解決困難。她寄望同學能好好把握每一個困難帶來的成長機遇，勇敢迎接未來的挑戰。

接着由畢業生代表致辭及進行傳光禮。六乙班的梁心楹同學及張珈瑜同學代表應屆畢業生致辭。回顧六年前參與網上開學禮經歷，她們感恩這段不平凡的路讓大家學會了在困難中堅持，並蛻變成具備領導力、責任感與韌性的人。她們衷心感謝師長在求學路上的悉心教誨，以及父母無條件的支持與愛護，讓同學在迷惘與挫折中得到庇護。兩位同學勉勵同屆畢業生無懼未來，將六年來學到的仁愛與服務精神帶出校園，在成為「初級大人」的路上活出精彩人生。最後，傳光禮象徵畢業班同學將校訓的精神傳遞給學妹，達至薪火相傳。

最後，畢業典禮在溫馨的氣氛中圓滿結束。

The Annual  Speech Day of Pope Paul VI College was held on 22 June 2026. We were honoured to have Ms. Patricia Yuen (Director, Cruise at the Hong Kong Tourism Board) officiate the event. Other guests of honour included our School Supervisor, Sr. Pessanha Alves Marinei; School Sponsoring Body Manager, Sr. Erudhaya Dhas, Sophia Rani; School Sponsoring Body Manager, Mr. Wong Yee Tin Paul; Representative of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate (PIME Sisters), Sr. Shinoby Thomas; Alumni Manager, Ms. Cheung Cheung Ching Cherry; Parent Manager and Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association, Mr. Ng Pak Kin; and Chairperson of the Alumnae Association, Dr. Eva Chan.

The Principal first welcomed our distinguished guest and alumna, Ms. Yuen. He encouraged graduates to broaden their horizons and embrace future opportunities with an open mindset. He also highlighted the school’s commitment to holistic education, including personalised learning, the PPVIC Speak Up Competition, and the “Micro-Habit Reward Scheme,” which helps students build confidence and positive habits. The school continues to innovate by integrating artificial intelligence into teaching. He commended four graduates who applied their knowledge to develop an AI-powered JUPAS search tool, demonstrating initiative and contributing to society. Students also achieved outstanding results in sports, including swimming, basketball, and volleyball. Reflecting on their journey, Principal Leung noted how this cohort began their secondary school life with an online ceremony in 2020 during the pandemic, reminding everyone to cherish shared experiences. He concluded by encouraging graduates to serve society in their own unique ways with compassion and purpose.

Our guest of honour, Ms. Patricia Yuen, then presented certificates to the graduates and delivered an inspiring speech. As a distinguished alumna, Ms. Yuen expressed her gratitude for the school’s inclusiveness and nurturing support, which allowed her to feel genuine care even though she was not a believer at the time. She shared her experience of not achieving ideal exam results and how she faced failure, reflected on her shortcomings, and persevered without giving up, eventually finding a new path that led her to university. Through her story, she encouraged graduates not to doubt themselves when encountering setbacks in life or studies, but to view failure as an opportunity to learn and grow. She also spoke about her career in the tourism industry, particularly the challenges during the pandemic when the cruise business came to a halt. She explained how she remained proactive, communicated with different parties, and worked through difficulties. Ms. Yuen motivated graduates to make the most of every challenge and face the future with courage.

The vote of thanks was delivered by the graduate representatives, Zhang Ka Yu Irene and Leung Sum Ying. They reflected on how the graduates’ journey began with a Teams opening ceremony during the pandemic, an unexpected and quiet start to their time together. After a year of online classes and uncertainty, returning to campus brought renewed energy, with laughter and life filling the corridors once again. They also thanked teachers, parents, friends, and staff for their unwavering support, and reminded graduates that this moment is not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter, one they step into with resilience, ambition, and hope.

A highlight of the day was the Passing-on-the-Light Ceremony, where graduates shared their hopes and values with younger students, carrying the school’s spirit forward. The celebration concluded with lively performances that brought joy to the audience.

The evening blended reflection with celebration, as graduates reconnected with teachers and friends. We warmly congratulate all graduates and wish them a bright future filled with success and happiness.
